Abstract

ABSTRACT
The aim of this post-event research was to investigate the role of using social networks in positive feeling to spouse
and family adaptability and cohesion. For this purpose, a sample of 100 married males and females and 100 single
girls and boys, all of them working at Khalij Fars Hospital of Bandar Abbas at the time of the research, were
selected by non-random available sampling. The Positive Feelings Questionnaire (PFQ) for married testees and
Family Adaptability and Cohesion Evaluation scale(FACES-III) for single testees were applied. The collected data
were analyzed according to the questions and analysis and hypothesis of the research, using two-way uni- variate
variance analysis statistical test. The results showed that: using social networks leads to reduce of positive feeling
to spouse, and reduce of family adaptability and cohesion. Gender has no influence on reduce of positive feeling to
spouse, and reduce of family adaptability and cohesion. Interaction (simultaneous effect) of using social networks
and gender, do not have any effect on the decrease of family cohesion and adaptability.
